Both strategical and operational management of our warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving & distribution, quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service, etc.
Schedule and oversee warehouse team, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies, conduct negotiation on Terms and Conditions with forwarders.
Plan work routines, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees, prepare annual budget on manpower.
Produce reports and statistics regularly (Inbounding/Outbounding status report etc.)
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security, adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
Bachelor degree in logistics or supply chain management or similar education background.
8-10 years working experience in warehouse environment, preferable with 5 years’ experience as a warehouse manager, either with at least middle-sized logistics company’s or companies managing their own warehouse.
Expertise in warehouse management procedures, software and databases and best practices.
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Excellent communicator and decision maker, sympathy and sound leadership; hands-on experience to manage multi-cultural team including external workers and cooperate with different stakeholders.
Fluent in German or Chinese language both verbally and in writing, good conversational in English.
